and a pool party and we told him we don't swim as missionaries so we
settled for a pizza party instead. :) It was great! Sister Meyer came
along with us and we helped answer a lot of his questions. He's still
not completely sure about the whole religion thing because it was
pushed on him as a child and he didn't like it but he's still really
interested in our church and said he was looking forward to reading
the Book of Mormon.
We had a lesson with Lanisha who has the cutest little kids ever;
London and Kadence. We knocked on her door because London was out on
the porch and asked if we were going to come talk to his mom. Best
referral ever!! She seems legit and said her and her boyfriend have
actually been talking about finding a church. I'm excited because she
already has a solid testimony of who God is and she loves to pray. :)
This week we also went on exchanges and I got to be with Sister
Strong. It was really cool to see how much we've both grown over the
past 5 months. I know that as we follow the commandments and stay
close to the Lord that we can have the Spirit with us and learn how to
become the person He wants and needs us to be.
